Therapy in South Woodford

10 The Shrubberies, George Lane, South Woodford, E18 1BD

Lying on the Epping branch of the Central Line, South Woodford is my favourite part of East London. It’s a great place to work as a therapist too, being within easy reach of Wanstead, Chingford, Chigwell, Ilford and Barkingside, and boasting great local facilities. I’ve been providing therapy in South Woodford since 2005, initially at 3 The Shrubberies, and later moving up the road to No.10. So if you’re looking for help with an emotional or psychological issue such as relationship or marriage problems; anxiety, stress, phobias, or addictions such as alcohol, cocaine, gambling or smoking; look no further, I can help you.

Directions:

By Underground: About 300 yards/metres from South Woodford tube station on the Central line. Exit the station on the Eastbound side (if travelling towards London you will have to cross the railway via the bridge or underpass). Walk up George Lane. At first there are shops on both sides, then, past the roundabout, the shops continue on the left and there is a central reservation with grass, flower beds and benches. On the right hand side is a row of buildings – “The Shrubberies”. My practice is at No.10; the green door nearest to the bus stop, opposite Marks & Spencers food supermarket.

Alternative location

I occasionally use other therapy rooms in South Woodford, depending on availability. They are at Forest Therapy Centre in Station Passage. If we are meeting there I will send full details and directions.

Parking:

There is Pay & Display parking outside The Shrubberies, and a Sainsbury’s supermarket on the other side of George Lane with ample parking (max. 2 hrs) although a small purchase is necessary to park there for free.
